This is an interesting rain system on a motel in Apolo Bay. I took the picture because I might want to use it as a model for some similar arrangement on my house. Lots of rural homes I saw have catchment systems. In spite of any conclusions you might draw form some of the pictures in this series, Australia is the driest continent and has been in a severe drought for over a decade.
