Montye Gertrude Rockwell Keeter (age 42) - After the years of hard work in the candy businees, this must have seemed like a vacation for Mom and Dad, at least until James died. Dad was sick (allergies, I think) which is why they closed up the candy shop and moved to California. Kathryn recalls Mom telling her we only lived on Culowee 16 months before moving back to SA shortly after James died. Dad eventually went to work for Ryan Aeronautical, I believe.
