Thanksgiving

Our weather for the whole week of Thanksgiving couldn’t have been any nicer.  The Wylies arrived Monday and non-stop hilarity ensued, at least among the Wylie girls plus Li’l r.  Jill and Dave both had to work on Tuesday and even some on Wednesday.  Jill’s job is really demanding a lot from her right now but hopefully the frenetic pace won’t continue much longer.

Tuesday I reconfigured the shop and set up the ping pong table for the kids to enjoy and they gave it a workout.  We also broke out the golf  clubs and hit whiffle balls around the pasture.  Friday we hiked out at Wildcat Bluff so I think we can say the foursome took full advantage of the pleasant weather.

As for Thanksgiving, we enjoyed excellent cuisine.  In fact we enjoyed it all the way through the Wylies leaving for home Saturday afternoon.  They arrived home safely that evening.

Now it is time to turn our attention to Christmas.  If the decent weather holds Joyce and I will do some decorating this week.  We may do the decorating even if the weather isn’t  all that pleasant since we want to get it done.
